DES_Organization Structure & Staff
| Directorate of Extension Services is responsible for planning, execution and monitoring of extension activities executed through Krishi Vigyan Kendras established in 21 Districts; out of 26 districts of western Madhya Pradesh spread in six agro - climatic zones under University jurisdiction. Directorate is working to bridge the gap between potential & actual production and to increase self employment opportunities for the rural youth through network of KVKs. KVKs are headed by a Senior Scientist and Head accompanied by a team of six scientists from various disciplines of agriculture. The whole networks of available human resources at university headquarters as well as at KVKs are working as per the thrust areas of the districts under its jurisdiction. |
